Your Life, Rejuvenated

I feel great! I don't experience any pain in my hips or lower back while walking. Usually, this pain is persistent, especially at the end of the day. I'm also loving the affirmations at the end of the sessions!

Ananya PateriyaStudent

Zohra, thank you so much for the informative video on what to buy for mom and child! Manan and I now have a much better understanding of what will be required initially. It's super helpful, and we've taken lots of notes.
Thank you for sharing!

Krishna Shukla

Special thanks to Zohra, Jessica, and Aman! The several tips I learned from YogBirth really helped to a smoother delivery and an overall positive pregnancy experience.

Chavvi Anand

Overall our experience in 2nd pregnancy and post that have been with ease and calm. We truly feel blessed and can't thank Angel Aman and Zo Pro Max enough for being with us and guide us in this beautiful journey. Pehle bht darr tha when we got to know about unplanned Pranava arrival hehe specially as Neena went through lot of emotions post first baby. Physically, emotionally you guys made us stronger.

Rakesh

I need to do these stretches that you taught us in today's session over the weekend too, after the session I feel so good, like I feel no pain on my hips and lower back while walking. Usually this pain is persistent especially end of the day. Also loving the affirmations to end the sessions with

Ananya

Thanks for being there in my life's most vulnerable time!

Shreya

Forgot to mention about journaling. Like I said last weekend, I think it's very helpful. I think it prompts one to think about some unusual things we are grateful for but don't always count among our blessings.

Dr Shalini

The yoga session was what I was apprehensive about the most (I had talked with Zohra about it). I was wondering if I'd have any agility after what seems like ages of doing yoga. But I am glad we started off slow and was surprised I could do some of the poses. I had the second session today and it was also inspiring to see a fellow Mum doing so well in advanced pregnancy.

Prasanna

We enjoyed the couple bonding session. We have asked similar questions to each other at one time or another, but the structured way the session was conducted helped us understand ourselves and this new phase of our relationship a bit better. And it was great to start the programme on this note!

Prasanna

Videos were quite exhaustive actually. So many things we didn't know even exist. So super useful Zohra, thank you.

Nupur Rustgi

Zohra today's session was very very helpful, with more clarity and knowledge my fears are slowly reducing. I know what to expect

Shreya

Thanks Zo!
Please tell Dr Anu that changing iron tablet to afternoon helped with easing constipation 🙂

Chavvi

Thank you!
These sessions are very informative. I am glad we atleast have the opportunity to learn. So many women are not even aware of all this and can't take a conscious call for themselves.
We are fortunate, and super thanks to you guys for doing this

Nupur

Thank you Yogbirth team for all your efforts, this is the time when you really need support mentally and physically with all the changes happening. Especially when you don't feel like yourself at all. The meditation sessions have helped me boost my self confidence and also made me more emotionally stable to handle mood swings.
Breathing has helped me feel calm and powerful. And the asana sessions make me feel stronger and push myself more!

Shreya

Yoga - Trimester 1

Prenatal yoga in the first trimester can be a gentle, supportive way to prepare your body and mind for the months ahead. This phase is about building a strong foundation, easing into the practice, and focusing on breathwork, gentle stretching, and light strengthening. Here’s an overview of what to keep in mind for first-trimester prenatal yoga:

  1. ### 1. **Focus on Breathing Techniques**
    - **Deep Belly Breathing:** Calm the nervous system, improve circulation, and enhance oxygen flow to the baby.
    - **Ujjayi Breath:** A gentle, ocean-sounding breath helps reduce anxiety and build focus.
  2. ### 2. **Gentle Warm-Ups**
    - Include **neck rolls, shoulder shrugs, and wrist rotations** to ease tension.
    - **Cat-Cow (Marjaryasana-Bitilasana)** is great for spinal mobility and gently strengthening your core without putting pressure on your belly.
  3. ### 3. **Core and Pelvic Floor Engagement**
    - Strengthening the pelvic floor is beneficial during all stages of pregnancy.
    - Try **Pelvic Tilts** (lying down or standing) to engage and gently strengthen the core.
  4. First-trimester prenatal yoga should be gentle and mindful, focusing on building stability, calming the mind, and starting the process of connecting with your baby. If you’re new to yoga or have any specific health concerns, consult your doctor or a certified prenatal yoga instructor before beginning.
